Softball Game Preview: Canoga Park Hunters vs. North Hollywood Huskies

Canoga Park is 0-5 against North Hollywood since March of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. Canoga Park will take on North Hollywood at 3:00 p.m.

Canoga Park had taken Van Nuys down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. Canoga Park lost 17-2 to Van Nuys. Having soared to a lofty 25 runs in the game before, the Hunters couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for North Hollywood, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They never let Monroe get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Friday. The Huskies' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Canoga Park now has a losing record of 1-2. As for North Hollywood, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Canoga Park might still be hurting after the 8-1 defeat they got from North Hollywood in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Canoga Park avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
