Western Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell just short of the Ragsdale Tigers by a score of 45-42. While the Hornets had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Tigers 21-14.
