Baseball Recap: Southside Christian Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Southside Christian and Greenville Christian Academy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Warriors lost 12-4 to the Knights on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-4 back in March.

Landon Pourron made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple. That triple was his first of the season.

Southside Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Greenville Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Southside Christian nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
