Volleyball Recap: Catholic Central Irish vs. Fairbanks Panthers
Catholic Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Fairbanks Panthers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Irish of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.
Leading Fairbanks to victory were Stephenie Headings and Mallereigh Rankin. Headings had eight aces and one assist, while Rankin had six aces. Those eight aces gave Headings a new career-high. Autumn Wiedmann also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.
