Volleyball Recap: Monarch Takes a Loss

Monarch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the High Tech CV Bruins. If the Royals were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Bruins when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-16.

Bryson Diestro was a one-man wrecking crew For High Tech CV. as he had 21 assists and eight aces. Those eight aces gave Diestro a new career-high.

Monarch's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for High Tech CV, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Monarch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Christian on the 21st. As for High Tech CV, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Crawford on the 19th.
