Football Recap: Lake Nona Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Lake Nona's offense. They had to suffer through a 39-0 loss at the hands of the Celebration Storm.

Isabel Meadows was her usual excellent self, rushing for 75 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, while also throwing for 148 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81% of her passes for Celebration. Another pass catcher making a difference was Nayeli Rivera, who picked up 30 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Lake Nona's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Celebration, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Lake Nona has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 defeat against Tohopekaliga on the 6th. As for Celebration, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 38-0 victory against Lake Brantley on the 6th.
