Volleyball Game Preview: Timpview Thunderbirds vs. Spanish Fork Dons

Timpview hasn't had much luck against Spanish Fork recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Thunderbirds will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dons at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Timpview is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Salem Hills, falling 3-0.

While Timpview had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Spanish Fork faced Cedar Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Dons fell just short of the Aviators by a score of 3-2.

Spanish Fork's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Timpview, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-20.
