Lakeview lost to Poland Seminary on Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. Lakeview came out on top in a nail-biter against Poland Seminary, sneaking past 5-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for Lakeview.

Jason DeMonica looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (two).

At the plate, Isaiah Lantz was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. Nicolas Aho also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Lakeview's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Poland Seminary, their loss dropped their record down to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Lakeview will venture away from home to face off against McDonald at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Poland Seminary, they will take on Lewisville at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
