Volleyball Game Preview: Heritage Preparatory Rams vs. St. Mary's Academy Bobcats + How To Watch

The Heritage Preparatory Rams will take on the St. Mary's Academy Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage Preparatory will be strutting in after a victory while St. Mary's Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

Heritage Preparatory took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over North Georgia HomeSchool. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Heritage Preparatory had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-12, 25-12, 25-18.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when St. Mary's Academy faced off against Holy Spirit Prep on Thursday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

St. Mary's Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Holy Spirit Prep work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 22-25, 20-25, 25-16, 15-9.

Heritage Preparatory will have to contain Emily Jimenez as she made an impact in St. Mary's Academy's last game. She had 39 digs and two aces. Jimenez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 17 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

St. Mary's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Heritage Preparatory, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
