Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Kyle Cox Delivers Electric Performance Vs Mullen
Kyle Cox's big game helped extend Sandhills/Thedford's winning streak to 16 on Friday. Cox turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 206 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 111 yards and four touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 20th straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Mullen's probably not too fond of Cox given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Cox saw the Broncos), he rushed for 286 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 78 yards and a touchdown on only six passes.

A Season-Best Performance from Kole Jones Leads Maxwell over Bayard
On Friday, Maxwell got the W thanks in part to Kole Jones playing the best football he has all season. Jones rushed for 105 yards and three touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up 0.5 sacks, making six total tackles, and defending a pass.
