Volleyball Recap: Ottawa Finds Home Court Redemption Against Sandwich + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Ottawa, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Sandwich Indians by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Ottawa never let Sandwich on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 27-25.

Belle Markey paced Ottawa's offense, picking up six kills. Markey got some help from Ashlynn Ganiere and her 15 assists. Ganiere also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jordyn Allen, each putting up three.

Ottawa's win bumped their record up to 9-20-2. As for Sandwich, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-21.

Looking ahead, Ottawa will host Sycamore at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sandwich, they will head out to take on Woodstock North at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
