With a playoff win on the line, Overlake rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Granite Falls Tigers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Owls have posted since October 2nd.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (102-98) Overlake actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-22, 25-16, 16-25, 16-14.

The win made it two in a row for Overlake and bumps their season record up to 8-12. As for Granite Falls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-5.

As of now, neither Overlake nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
