Volleyball Game Preview: Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds vs. Fort Lupton Bluedevils

The Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds will venture away from home to face off against the Fort Lupton Bluedevils at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Windsor Charter Academy will be strutting in after a win while Fort Lupton will be coming in after a defeat.

Windsor Charter Academy barely beat Forge Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Firebirds put the hurt on the Fury with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The Firebirds not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 31st (when they won 3-0).

Windsor Charter Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Fort Lupton unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to Severance.

While Fort Lupton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Severance's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 26-24.

Windsor Charter Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Fort Lupton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.
