Volleyball Recap: Tarpon Springs Takes a Loss

Tarpon Springs lost against Dunedin back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spongers came up short against the Falcons, falling 3-0. The Spongers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Tarpon Springs was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Dunedin's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-21, 25-23.

Tarpon Springs' loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Dunedin, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Tarpon Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Northeast on the 9th. Hopefully Dunedin paid attention to the Spongers' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Spongers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
