It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cascade had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 49-34 win over the Gibson Southern Titans. The victory was just business as usual for the Cadets, who after 14 games remain undefeated this season.
Dayton Mink produced another solid performance rushing for 125 yards and three scores. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in October. Brady Trebley was in the mix too, providing Cascade with two TDs.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Cascade was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 307 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 250 rushing yards in six consecutive contests.
