Volleyball Recap: Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels vs. St. David Tigers

Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the St. David Tigers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sentinels of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-7.

Leading St. David to victory were Emma Hart and Sophia Salinas. Hart had 22 assists and 16 aces, while Salinas had four aces. Those 16 aces gave Hart a new career-high.

Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for St. David, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-18.

Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Valley Lutheran on the 28th. As for St. David, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Fort Thomas on the 29th.
