After low-scoring totals in their previous seven contests, Corona del Mar brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They put the hurt on the Avalon Lancers with a sharp 21-2 win on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Sea Kings as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Kiera Madan made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit (and not a single walk). Madan was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February.
