Volleyball Recap: Humboldt Makes It 14 in a Row on the Road

Humboldt won the last time they faced Iola and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cubs came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0.

Humboldt not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Iola between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21.

Humboldt found their leader in sophomore Bailey Daniels, who had six digs and two aces.

Humboldt's win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-5. As for Iola, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Humboldt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Lyndon on the 27th. As for Iola, they will be playing at home against Osawatomie at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
