Softball Recap: Columbus East Olympians vs. Columbus North Bull Dogs

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Columbus East walked away with it. They never let the Columbus North Bull Dogs get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Olympians: when they faced off against the Bull Dogs back in April, they had to take a 12-4 defeat.

Fish Baleigh was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
