Soccer Game Preview: Glencliff vs. Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet

The Glencliff Colts will head out on the road to face off against the Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Glencliff, who comes in off a win.

Glencliff's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over Whites Creek. The high-scoring effort was just what Glencliff needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet's offense. They fell 2-0 to Ensworth on Monday. While losing is never fun, Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while Ensworth are ranked 13th).

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4-4. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4-1 record this season.
