Pecos has no trouble against Compass Academy

On Friday, Pecos didn't have too much trouble with Compass Academy at home as they won 46-28. That looming 46-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Pecos yet this season.

Despite the loss, Compass Academy had strong showings from Chloe Granado, who scored two points along with five rebounds, and Lindsey Ruiz, who scored three points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Ruiz set a new season high mark in rebounds with seven.

Pecos' win ended a eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Compass Academy, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-5.

Pecos won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Dumas at 9:00 a.m. on December 9th. Dumas is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. Compass Academy and Big Spring will face off at 12:00 p.m. on December 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Big Spring has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
