Volleyball Recap: Kaylie Lynar and Kameron Russell Secure Win for Basha + How To Watch

Basha's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Verrado Vipers by a score of 3-1. For the Bears, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Vipers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

While Basha might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Verrado scored at least 22 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 23-25, 25-22, 27-25.

Basha was led to victory by Kameron Russell and Kaylie Lynar. Russell had 11 digs and two assists, while Lynar had three digs and two aces. That's the most digs Russell has posted since back in September.

Despite the loss, Verrado still got an impressive performance from Aniah Brown, who hit 65.5% for 19 kills and 22 digs and six blocks. Brown is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Basha's record is now 19-13. As for Verrado, their record now sits at 20-15.

Looking ahead, Basha will take on Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Verrado does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
