Volleyball Recap: Hirsch Takes a Loss

The Hirsch Huskies came up short against the Butler Lynx on Wednesday and fell 2-0.

Hirsch may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 14 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14.

Jailyn Wilkins was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had four aces and two blocks. Those two blocks gave her a new career-high.

Hirsch's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Butler, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Hirsch will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Air Force Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Butler, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Golder on the 2nd.
