Basketball Recap: Aberdeen Central Comes Up Short

Aberdeen Central lost against Stevens back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stevens Raiders. The Golden Eagles' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

Aberdeen Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Stevens, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-1 record.

Aberdeen Central will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Spearfish at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stevens and Mitchell will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
