Immaculata waltzed into their game  on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the West Side Roughriders, posting  a  48-8 win. The Spartans' offense checked out after the first half but had enough  points banked to take the game anyway.
 Daysir Spille had another great game (as  he tends to do), rushing for 154 yards and three  TDs on only seven carries. He has become a key player for Immaculata: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. Another rusher making a difference was  Brian Cilento, who rushed for 62 yards and one  score on only six carries.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Immaculata was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 303  rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  rushing yard total in four consecutive  contests.
 Immaculata didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Aiden Thompson and  Quinn Hayden.
Immaculata's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for West Side,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-8.
 Coming up, Immaculata will square off against St. Mary at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. West Side does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
