Softball Recap: Boise Takes a Loss

Boise made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Kuna, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Brave fell just short of the Kavemen by a score of 4-2 on Friday. The Brave haven't had much luck with the Kavemen recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lily Binford made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played.

Boise's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Kuna, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Boise is set to take on their familiar foe Rocky Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kuna will square off against rival Eagle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
