Football Game Preview: Auburn vs. Fort Chiswell

Fort Chiswell have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Auburn at 7:00 PM. Fort Chiswell are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.

Fort Chiswell had a rough outing against Radford three weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Two weeks ago, Fort Chiswell secured a 20-15 W over Floyd County.

Meanwhile, if Auburn were riding high off their 27-0 takedown of Eastern Montgomery, that ride came to an abrupt end. Auburn fell to Wythe 27-34. Auburn's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Fort Chiswell took their match against Auburn the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 35-7 score.
