Softball Recap: McCormick Comes Up Short

McCormick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Dixie Hornets, falling 22-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 24-0 on Tuesday.

McCormick's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Dixie, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

McCormick didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 19-3 defeat against Thornwell on the 21st. As for Dixie, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-1 victory against Greenwood on the 20th.
