Soccer Game Preview: North Thurston vs. Capital

The North Thurston Rams will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Capital Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Thurston's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Capital's offense will have their work cut out for them.

North Thurston's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Black Hills as North Thurston made off with a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Capital fell victim to Spanaway Lake and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Sentinels by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Capital and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for North Thurston, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-2.
