Volleyball Recap: Folsom Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

Folsom had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Oak Ridge on Wednesday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trojans. The Bulldogs not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 2nd (when they won 3-0).

While Folsom won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-23.

Leading Folsom to victory were Neelagreev Chintaluri and Ryane Titus. Chintaluri had 20 assists, while Titus had eight digs. Chintaluri is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 16 or more in each of the last nine games he's played.

Folsom's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-9. As for Oak Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 26-3.

As of now, neither Folsom nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
