They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 24-8 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Warhawks needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Elani Vaughan made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Vaughan was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, McDonough got a massive performance out of Kylei Buffington, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
