Basketball Game Preview: Jamestown vs. New Bloomfield Wildcats

Jamestown will take on the New Bloomfield Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Jamestown and six for New Bloomfield.

Last Friday, Jamestown came up short against Calvary Lutheran and fell 62-55.

Meanwhile, New Bloomfield ended up a good deal behind Southern Boone on Saturday and lost 76-58. The Wildcats were down 67-47 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Jamestown will need to focus on slowing down Chase Trainor, one of several New Bloomfield players who made an impact when they last played. He posted nine points. Jacob Fuhriman was another key player, going 6-for-15 to rack up 16 points and four steals.

New Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Jamestown, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.
