Baseball Recap: Mojave Comes Up Short

Mojave was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against The Meadows School Mustangs, falling 18-3. One positive for the Rattlers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Mojave saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaime Adame, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Adame also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Mojave's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for The Meadows School, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Mojave will face off against Boulder City at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mojave has given up an average of 14.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for The Meadows School, they will challenge Palo Verde at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
