Recap: Glen Ridge Ridgers vs. American History Bald Eagles
The Glen Ridge Ridgers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against American History by a score of 59-46.
American History's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ihjamir Williams, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and seven blocks, and Ahmad Davis who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds. Elijah Whitney was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Glen Ridge's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for American History, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glen Ridge and Shabazz will face off at 4:00 p.m. on January 24th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
