New Home is 3-0 against Ralls since December of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The New Home Leopards will challenge the Ralls Jackrabbits at 6:15 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

New Home is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Abernathy just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost to the Antelopes at home by a 51-33 margin.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 55-13, which was the final score in Ralls' tilt against Floydada on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Jackrabbits in their matchups with the Whirlwinds: they've now lost eight in a row.

Ralls' loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for New Home, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-7.

Everything came up roses for New Home against Ralls in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 96-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for New Home since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
