Basketball Game Preview: Sandpoint Bulldogs vs. Post Falls Trojans

Sandpoint is 1-7 against Post Falls since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Sandpoint Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Post Falls Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sandpoint is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-43 heartbreaker at the hands of West Valley.

Meanwhile, Post Falls faced Lakeside in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Post Falls had to suffer through a 84-42 loss at the hands of Lakeside. The game marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Sandpoint's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Post Falls, they moved to 4-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
