Volleyball Game Preview: Western Christian Wolfpack vs. Ames Little Cyclones

The Western Christian Wolfpack will head out on the road to take on the Ames Little Cyclones on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Western Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Sioux Falls Christian, who was ranked seventh in their home state at the time (Western Christian was ranked ninth). The Wolfpack were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Chargers on Tuesday. The Wolfpack have beaten the Chargers the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Chargers has come to flipping the script.

Western Christian never let Sioux Falls Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Ames got the win against Roosevelt on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Western Christian's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Ames, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.
