Volleyball Recap: Athens Academy Triumphs

Athens Academy won the last time they faced Bethlehem Christian Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Spartans came out on top against the Knights by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Athens Academy found their leader in freshman Riley Muir, who had 12 digs and two aces.

Athens Academy has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Athens Academy will take on Cherokee Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Apalachee on the 9th.
