Softball Game Preview: Clarke Indians vs. Knoxville Panthers

The Clarke Indians will challenge the Knoxville Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Clarke will be strutting in after a victory while Knoxville will be coming in after a defeat.

Clarke proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Cardinal 4-3.

Meanwhile, Knoxville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Albia, falling 13-0. Panthers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Blue Demons since on Friday.

Knoxville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Clarke, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-4.
