Sumner Academy won the last time they faced Wyandotte and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Sabres came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sabres.

Sumner Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-23, 25-13, 25-20.

Sumner Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-14-1. As for Wyandotte, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sumner Academy will face off against rival Highland Park at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wyandotte is set to challenge their familiar foe Washington on Thursday.
