Basketball Game Preview: Gainesville Hurricanes vs. Columbia Tigers + Official Tickets

For the first time this season, Gainesville will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Columbia Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Gainesville came up short against North Marion and fell 57-46.

Meanwhile, Columbia had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 70-69 to Trenton.

Gainesville was able to grind out a solid win over Columbia when the teams last played back in February, winning 64-51. Will the Hurricanes repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
