Baseball Recap: Plymouth Falls Short of New Prairie in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Plymouth can now relate to. They fell 5-2 to the New Prairie Cougars on Saturday. The Pilgrims/Rockies have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Plymouth saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Shively, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Plymouth's loss dropped their record down to 17-12. As for New Prairie, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-9.

As of now, neither Plymouth nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
