Volleyball Recap: Cambridge Takes a Loss

Cambridge lost against Southwest back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Roughriders.

Brooklyn Holtze paced Cambridge's offense, picking up eight kills. Holtze got some help from Mallory Springer and her eight assists. Springer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Cambridge's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Southwest, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Cambridge has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Gering on the 20th. As for Southwest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against McCook on the 20th.
