Baseball Recap: St. Dominic Comes Up Short

St. Dominic entered their matchup against Long Beach on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bayhawks fell 12-9 to the Marines. The Bayhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Louis Gounaris made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Nick Vitale, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

St. Dominic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Looking ahead, St. Dominic will take on Monsignor McClancy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Long Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
