St. Peter is 9-1 against Waseca since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Saints will take on the Bluejays at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (St. Peter has five straight wins, Waseca has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

St. Peter took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Marshall, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Saints sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Tigers on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Waseca fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 6-5. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

St. Peter's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Waseca, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

St. Peter took their victory against Waseca in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-2 score. Do the Saints have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bluejays turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
