Basketball Game Preview: Boise Brave vs. Borah Lions

The Boise Brave are headed away from home for the first time to challenge the Borah Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Borah took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Boise, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Boise didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Capital, but they still walked away with a 66-62 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Brave.

Boise got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Will Gebert out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 boards. Luke Soltau was another key player, putting up 17 points in addition to seven assists and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Borah didn't have quite enough to beat Kuna on Wednesday and fell 52-50.

Boise's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Borah, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Boise was able to grind out a solid win over Borah when the teams last played back in January, winning 51-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Boise since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
