After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Radnor, Ridley was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Chichester Eagles 3-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Ridley never let Chichester on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 25-22.
Ava Vinovrski was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 digs and 11 assists.
Ridley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last seven contests.
Ridley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-16. As for Chichester, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
