Basketball Recap: Pike County Takes a Loss

Pike County lost against Straughn back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pike County Bulldogs lost 56-30 to the Straughn Tigers.

Pike County dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Straughn, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.

Pike County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Straughn, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against New Brockton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Straughn's defense has only allowed 27.3 points per game this season, so New Brockton's offense will have their work cut out for them.
