Jefferson Forest has gone 8-2 against Brookville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cavaliers will venture away from home to face off against the Bees at 7:30 p.m. Jefferson Forest is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Jefferson Forest proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Glass 4-3.

Meanwhile, Brookville fell victim to Amherst County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bees in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Bryce Tolbert spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Jefferson Forest pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Brookville, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Everything went Jefferson Forest's way against Brookville in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Jefferson Forest made off with a 12-1 victory. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Bees have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
