Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Springfield). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 56-7 victory over the Northmont Thunderbolts. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Thunderbolts: they've now won seven in a row.

Springfield got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaiden Walker out in front who rushed for 54 yards and one TD.

Walker was just one part of a punishing run game: Springfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 208 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northmont only rushed for 20.

Springfield's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Northmont, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

As of now, neither Springfield nor the Thunderbolts have any future games scheduled.
